inuk Design's creative expression was created in the wake of the financial crisis in 2008. As a graphic designer and creative person, I always find new ways to go, find new opportunities to express myself.

When the work assignments dwindled in 2009, when the financial crisis hit Greenland, I sat with a drawing in my hand that I kept coming back to. I could see the possibilities in this drawing and fantasized that it could be quite nice on fabric.

I googled around the web and then found a place in the USA that could print in the number of cm you wanted and sent a sample.

When I received the sample, I was very surprised and immediately sewed a pillow cover and posted it on Facebook.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door and there was a person who wanted to buy the pillowcase.
"Maybe this is a sign", I thought to myself and ordered more fabric and sewed several pillow covers in several sizes.

That's how the design was born and many more products sprung up over the years.
