From print media to TV graphics to what we know today inuk Design, a brand that was developed in the shaddow of the financial crisis in 2008.

It became everyday household items and has now evolved into fashion design and knitwear.

And it all began in 2001.

inuk Design started as a graphic department for inuk Media ApS in 2001, which was founded by Peter Jensen in the 1980s as the first private video production company in Greenland, based in Nuuk. He then started the education in Greenland in collaboration with Denmark, the AV assistant education and has since educated many young people, who today are skilled television and film makers.

Peter Jensen has received many recognitions awards for his film work and has through a human age filmed and documented the Greenlandic life from North, West, East and South Greenland.

Inuk Media entered into a collaboration with graphic designer Liv Aurora Jensen (art name Liss Stender), who came from KNR (national TV station in Greenland).

She was the a new-thinking graphic designer, who designed the graphic look on TV and was a sucessful entreprenure behind KNRs marketing department. After 5 years in KNR, she decided to try something new and contacted Peter Jensen from inuk Media.

In 2002 they established inuk Design. It has since evolved from being a graphic company to becoming a brand that has had great success with a Nordic and simple expression.

inuk Design has participated ​​exhibitions around the world and in 2022 Canada, Toronto will be behind the exhibition of inuk Design's prints. The exhibition is called Nordic Bridges.
